Technology Tour

Rotary Evaporators concentrate mixtures/solutions for subsequent analysis. Rows of GC and HPLC instruments are programmed to run over 25 methods in addition to other analyses. Scientist Sabrina Statzer prepares a microtiter plate. Scientist Christy Hanson uses the Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP-OES) instrument to analyze minerals.
Triple Quad (LC/MS/MS) instrument which combines power and versatility in solving customer problems. Scientist Jenny Golbach prepares the inoculating tubes for the Niacin assay. GC/MS provides structural information in addition to qualitative/quantitative data for volatile compounds. Scientist Keith Richard uses the scanning UV-VIS instrument for feed applications.
Scientist Keith Duff uses one of our many State-of-the-art High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) instruments. Scientist Jenny Golbach uses the microtiter plate reader. Refluxing allows for efficient extracting of many analytes. The MARS Xpress is capable of digesting up to 40 samples in less than one hour.
Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography is a new instrumental technique used for the analysis of amino acids.
