Determination of physical/chemical characteristics of pesticide products are enforced by the EPA for several reasons: hazard to humans, general behavior of the product, emergency identification of a pesticide product, or even evaluation of manufacturing process. Physical/Chemical characterization is necessary because it may affect directions for use and the information that is required on the pesticide label. At EPL, our product chemists have an average of 10 years working with pesticide physical/chemical characterization procedures, and have submitted over 70 physical/chemical characterization studies to the US EPA
